Web On-line Public Access Catalogue

This electronic card catalog replaces the traditional card catalog and contains the database for all bibliographic records of all the processed materials in this ITRC. It is presented in the International Bibliographic Description format similar to the traditional card catalog.Procedures in Using the OPACYou may use and inquire through the OPAC on any category or combinations of categories as you can view on the screen.

STEP 1 – You can search by Title, Author, Publisher, Date of Publication, Subject, and Record Type by placing the cursor on the appropriate space.
STEP 2 – You can either type your entries or press the Word Wheel button beside each query box. By doing the latter, the ITRC database’s controlled thesaurus is shown for you to choose your topic. Paste the topics of your interest then press Close.
STEP 3 – To execute query, you can either press Enter on the keyboard or the Submit Query button located at the bottom of the query boxes.
STEP 4 – The selections for Books & CD-ROMs will be displayed containing title, author, publication date & place, publisher, call number, notes and abstract.

Note: Publications in the OPAC are available only within the ITRC premises. Request for copy of the publication should be addressed directly to the publisher.
